RELIGIONS, SECTS, DENOMINATIONS, SPLINTER GROUPS that come later are INTOLERANT OF THEIR ROOTS.

RELIGIONS, SECTS, DENOMINATIONS, SPLINTER GROUPS that come later are INTOLERANT OF THEIR ROOTS.

Why is this so? Is it because, those who come later think, they are smarter than their previous generations.??? There were corruption scandals in Catholic Churches!! Is Protestantism free of all the diseases afflicting Catholicism.?What explains the more than 1500 plus (Googling gives the figures as 33,000+) denominations , after Protestantism.? Problem with the intellect ? Here is a classic example from Missionary Literature, and the intolerance of PROTESTANTS towards CATHOLICS in Kerala soil. A Keralite should also bear in mind that such animosities BETWEEN THE NUMEROUS CASTES never existed in Kerala, during the same period. Such stories remain to be invented.

Quote : "“The question has been asked – Why do the disturbances which have arisen in connection with the spread of Protestant Christianity in Travancore not occur between Roman Catholics and heathens ? The reply seems to us obvious. There is, in the first place, less difference between Romanists and Hindus than between Protestants and Hindus. The Romanists are by no means so well instructed, either in scriptural or secular knowledge, as our people are. The native Romanists are admitted much more readily to baptism and communion with the church than are those who apply to us. In common with Hindus they practise image-worship, processions, and pompous ceremonies. They observe caste to some extent, and have often separate chapels for worshippers of different castes. Hence they do not excite the jealousy of other castes by rising in the scale of enlightenment and civilization, but have remained for nearly three hundred years stationary in these respects, while our converts have mostly escaped from the power of hard masters, and have in fifty or sixty years risen amazingly in character and position. Nor is there anything like the active converting agency at work amongst Roman Catholics that is carried on in our mission. Very few are added to their numbers from heathenism, which therefore has not much cause to fear them on this ground. The Romish congregations, too, are chiefly situated in the maritime districts, where they have existed for so long a time that they are looked on as a familiar and established class, and as an integral portion of the population.” Pages 275-6, Chapter XX,Establishment and Early History of the London Mission in Travancore., From the book “The Land of Charity” by Rev. Samuel Mateer of London Missionary Society. (First Pub.1870)

NEW BRAND OF CHRISTIANITY – INDIA IN GRAVE DANGER FROM FORCES DETRMINED TO DALITIZE INDIA !!!

Even at the cost of  being branded communal or Right-wing  and anticipating the negative prospects of being ostracized from ‘secular’ circles, if not already in that situation, I sincerely feel it is my duty to inform  of a grave danger, gnawing our Indian republic from within.

My morning walks has earned me quite a few friends. One such is a retired Professor from a very old and  reputed institution in the metro city where I am staying. Today morning (22/08/2014) I was trailing behind him  by about  hundred meters before I could catch up with him. I could see him ahead, conversing and walking along with another gentleman, who was his same age, but slow in his movement. Since the Prof. walks faster than anyone of his age, while observing the pair, I could see him breaking away from the other gentleman and forging ahead. Walking faster, it took me some time before I could overtake the relatively slower gentleman, and keep pace with the Prof.

I greeted him , and now we were walking together. The Prof. told me that he had been walking alongside his neighbor for quite some time, before breaking away from him. Then he told me about the content of his conversation with the Christian Pastor, his neighbor.

The Prof. had not seen his neighbor for quite some time.  Even I was noticing the other gentleman for the first time. I knew the house of the Prof. and had seen the occupants of his neighbouring houses. But this other gentleman I had not noticed before.

In reply to the query of the Prof. about his long absence, the Pastor told that he had been travelling extensively within India and abroad. His married daughter is now occupying the house , adjacent to the Prof’s house, and his son-in-law is the pastor of the New-Age Church at the end of the street. This church is on the way to my house, and I used to see the members of the small congregation. From their appearance, I could make out that culturally they belonged to the lowest strata of society.(These people may be the laggards in the Sanskritising process, or they would have migrated  to India at a much later period. The Sanskritising process is itself a slow process, and assimilation into it is also slow. Moreover by becoming Christian, they loose their roots, which is psychologically damaging)

The Pastor  had just returned from Bihar and he will be in the metro for some days with his daughter before moving on. He had gone to Bihar to inaugurate a welfare scheme there. It included training courses to handle computers, housed in a four-storey building , the total cost of the entire project being  Rupees Twentyfive Crores !!!

The pastor claimed that he had studied only upto tenth class (failed), but later worked as a pharmacist in Dubai, where he made his money. His son is also a pastor and ‘labours’ in Malayasia & Indonesia. The Sr.Pastor apprised the Prof. that he owns property worth Rs.200 Crores in India, of which Rs.50 crores is in the metro where I live. In addition he owns a good no of vehicles, and I had wondered about two very recent acquisitions – a new Tata Winger Passenger van and another new mid-segment car in the possession of his son-in-law.

To the Prof.’s surprise, without asking, the Pastor  outlined the aim of his mission/labor. As per his statistics, the Christian population in India is at present 10 percent. By 2025, he is confident  that through the ‘sustained labor’ of New Age Churches like his own, they will achieve the targeted conversion of 25 percent of the Indian population. They have got a organized and detailed plan for this effort, and have identified  the people  targeted for conversion.

Not only that , he said that it was a set-back to Christian groups like his, that Modi came to power. During the previous Govt. , with a very ‘tolerant’ Sonia at the helm, he said that the  operation of Christian Groups engaged in conversion were smooth, without any kind of hindrance. Now he has to tread with caution.

Now the crucial aspect of the conversation is this: The Pastor  had been to US after  Modi formed his Govt. He had met fellow  missionaries there who are close to some US Senators. The Pastor is optimistic based on  information gathered in the US that, soon Sonia will come back to power, and that too  before Modi completes his term in office. Is it the imagination of a fanatic Christian  about the invisible hand of Jesus Christ  acting against Modi, or is it that the Christian Groups will pressure the Obama Administration towards engineering dis-affection towards the Modi Govt by “some sections” of  the people of India and thereby remove him from saddle by hook or crook !!!??? The second option is likely  if the Modi Govt.  in any way hampers the free-operation of these Christian Groups engaged in conversion. The US Administration with the help of  CIA is notorious for its covert operations, in destabilizing other peaceful nations at the behest of pressure groups within & without.

The methods for gaining  Christian converts in India  is through subterfuge. This is a continuation of Christian policy from colonial times. It is not the victory earned after the end of a game played as per rules and fairly. From the so-called upper castes of Hindus, it is impossible to get converts. Even if any converts are gained from the upper-castes, they will be the ‘dregs’ of those communities. Detailed accounts  of  Missionary frustration in getting converts from the upper-castes , is available in plenty from the Missionary narratives of 19th and early 20th centuries.

Since Missionary machinations among the upper-castes  end up as a futile exercise, they are targeting the Dalits, who form approximately 16% of the Indian population. The first step is to create disaffection towards India, its religion and Culture, while sowing the seeds of hatred in Dalit minds towards the so-called upper Castes ( which includes even Christian & Muslim upper-caste). They are aided in this efforts by the Leftists(Marxists) , the Ambedkarites, and other Dalit organizations along with their versions of HISTORY. If one closely follows the statements and actions of these groups, it can be seen that  systematic & deliberate  efforts in effecting cleavages within Indian society are orchestrated.

The Pastor  is having access to at least Rs.200 Crores. How many Indians have access to such funds.? From his own accounts about association with Christian Groups abroad, especially US, we get  a fairly good idea, that this Rs 200 Crores and even more is not the result of the pastor’s sweat and blood. He has easy access to funds from abroad .This funds are sent here to  Destabilize(Dalitize) & Christianize India.

In this metro, the members of the community to which I belong(Nair), under very conservative estimate numbers to approx  60,000 to 70,000. We are planning to have a community centre here. The budgeted project cost is Rs.10 Crores. The community leaders are planning for this the past three years. But they find it impossible to raise this amount, because the members mostly belong to middle-income bracket. In contrast, men like the Pastor , with alien support  are capable of executing projects in far-away Bihar, worth 25 Crores. This kind of continuous access to huge and irresponsible funds is sure to upset the social balance. It does not augur well for the future of the Indian society.

Give Modi a chance: church

Anita Joshua
print   ·   T  T
The Catholic Bishops Conference of India (CBCI) wants to give Prime Minister Narendra Modi a “chance” and not pre-judge him because of his record as the Gujarat Chief minister or his association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

A day after he met Mr. Modi in the capital, CBCI president Cardinal Baselios Cleemis on Tuesday said that the church preferred to take the Prime Minister’s call for a 10-year-moratorium on communalism seriously rather than the ‘Hindutva-subsumes-all-other-identities’ statement of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Anxiety
Admitting that Mr. Bhagwat’s statements did create anxiety, he said undue weightage should not be given to the personal opinion of one person.

Asked about the apprehensions about Mr. Modi in the past, his refrain was: “Mr. Modi has just begun his administration as the head of the government at the Centre.

“It is sensible and legitimate that any government needs time to settle down and work out its policies.
“He has been elected and we have to see his actions. We are optimistic.

BRAHMINS – HOW THEIR EXEMPLARY CONDUCT SAVED INDIA FROM RELIGIOUS VIOLENCE !!!

The world is witnessing as well as experiencing the RELIGIOUS Violence that has engulfed the entire West Asia, which is the birthplace of the three “GREAT” historical Religions of the World.
India geographically is not that far away from West Asia, but historically Religious violence here was unheard of till it came into contact with Islam & Christianity. Here in India, we had experiences similar to that in W.Asia, -new off-shoots from Hinduism like Buddhism and Jainism trying to over-run the mother religion. But Indians in general & BRAHMINS in particular had been exceptionally wise in their RELIGIOUS attitude and conduct, in neutralizing the effects of these incomplete religions. Thus these new and ephemeral saplings pretending to be deep-rooted trees, withered by itself in course of time within India.

We get to know about the attitude of BRAHMINS towards
RELIGION & other castes from MISSIONARY narratives of the 19th century.(1800’s AD). Missionaries in providing these accounts were demonstrating the CUNNINGNESS of Brahmins as a class. But the impression we may gather is contrary. We find in these negative portrayals the ingenious conduct of Brahmins in matters related to Religion, and the intolerance and SUPERIORITY complex of the Missionary. Another detail that we understand is the EMPATHY shown by Brahmins towards the natives belonging to other castes. The Brahmins shared friendships with other castes and communities. Brahminical tyranny or Brahminical Hinduism, which the Leftists and Ambedkarities have invented, is completely absent in these Missionary narratives.

One such narrative is provided here, and it is available in the public
domain. Here the Missionary has tried his level best and succeeded to a great extent in creating cleavage between Brahmins/Other Hindu Castes vis-a-vis Nadars(Shanars) of Tirunelveli District ,Tamilnadu. In the process, he had succeeded in wrenching away a sizable number of Nadars from Hinduism, through outright lies and misinformation campaigns. The Result -“The proportion of Christians in Tirunelveli is larger than any other province in India.” –Source Wikipedia. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tirunelveli

Quote from Bishop Robert Caldwell “I may here remark, that it is the peculiar policy of the Brahmans to render all the religious systems of India subservient to their purpose by making friends of them all. Brahmanism repudiates exclusiveness ; it incorporates all creeds, assimilates all, consecrates all. People are permitted to entertain any opinions they please, and to practise any ceremonies they please, provided only that the supremacy of the Vedas and of the Brahmans is acknowledged. When that acknowledgment has been duly made, the new heterodoxy becomes another new authoritative orthodoxy, especially revealed by the Supreme Being himself for the enlightenment and salvation of the particular class of people amongst whom it has become popular. Thus Brahmanism yields and conquers ; and hence, though the demon-worship of Tinnevelly is as far as possible repugnant to the genius of orthodox Hinduism, and was not only independent of it in origin, but, as I believe, long anterior to it, yet even it has received a place in the cunningly-devised mosaic of the Brahmans, and the devils have got themselves regarded as abnormal developments of the gods.”

CASTE –SECULARISM NOT SUITABLE FOR INDIAN DISPOSITION !!!???

Whatever  be said against Caste, it is ‘closely intertwined’ with religion, as Missionary experiences in this matter reveal.  Missionary frustration in getting converts from the ‘higher and middle castes’, results in hatred against  Caste System, Brahmins and Hindu Religion. Missionary accounts though highly prejudiced
reveal the veneration of caste institutions, by the people of India. As a corollary to the whole situation, SECULARISM does not suit the Indian disposition !!!!

Quote “It is one of the peculiar difficulties that Christianity has to encounter in dealing with Hindus of the higher and middle castes, that the religion of the country is so closely intertwined with the usages (customary practice) of Hindu society. The more punctilious a high-caste Hindu is in the performance of his religious ceremonies, and in the maintenance of his caste purity and exclusiveness, the higher are supposed to be his claims to social respectability. It is not necessary for him to be a believer in the doctrines of his religion; but it is absolutely necessary, if he is a man of " good caste" and in affluent circumstances, that he should carefully practice all its rites. He cannot keep his place in society, he cannot claim to be regarded as a gentleman, without affecting (pretend to have or feel) to be superstitious. A poor low-caste man may be as careless as he likes about his religious duties ; but one who occupies a respectable position in society cannot choose but show himself ceremonious, just as an English gentleman cannot choose but live in a style appropriate to his rank. Hence, to propose
to a Hindu of respectability to abandon all the usages of his sect and caste, and embrace a foreign religion, sounds in his ear like asking him to abandon the proprieties (conformity to conventionally accepted standards of behavior or morals) of life and become a Pariar. No class of people are so enslaved to custom and precedent as those who are wealthy and luxurious without being enlightened.”

EBOLA & UNTOUCHABILITY - TIME TO RECONSIDER THE CRASS ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT & CONDEMNATION OF UNTOUCHABILITY

Prevention  of  (spread of) epidemics and  communicable diseases were built into  the social life in India . Communities are prone to certain diseases due to their customs and manners. eg food-habits. 'Knowledgeable Indians' in the upper echelons, allowed other castes and communities to pursue their own lives without restraint, but conforming to the general and accepted social customs. They had devised a brilliant template, in which all types of  communities could be accommodated. They did not butcher/exterminate those who did not conform to their own highly REFINED lifestyles. This is quite unlike the happenings in N.America, where White Colonists, assuming themselves to be superior, exterminated   the native Red-Indians there.  Contrasted to this, in India, it was a policy of live and let live. Despite such humanistic attitude, members of the so called 'upper-castes'  are subjected to negative portrayal in the name of CASTE & UNTOUCHABILITY.

Untouchability was essential in 'those' times to preserve self, family and community. Refer http://msradha.blogspot.in/2014/05/untouchability-fully-justified-was.html Or imagine a situation where the men wielding knowledge and power  forcing the  various 'non-refined' (non-Sanskritised) castes into 'REFORMATION' camps, and teaching them habits of cleanliness and hygiene   by the use of  FORCE. Since they were 'knowledgeable' and imbibed with wisdom, they did did not resort to such inhuman tactics.Further  fully realizing the impracticability of VIOLENT methods,  some made their own enclaves to live their refined lives unhindered and at times zealously guarding such spaces. (eg. Agrahara).

Ultimately, we have to take charge of our own lives. That is what the pandemic EBOLA reminds us. Neither the State nor SCIENCE can guarantee protection against such DEADLY  micro-organisms, the knowledge of which is NOT fully grasped by modern science. In the Atharva-Veda, there is awareness of disease causing organisms, seen & unseen (Drishtam & Adirshtam). That may be  one reason why the learned-men were careful & selective  in their social intercourse.

N.B- Those who are freely willing, without any second thoughts to share their tooth-brush , with kith & kin may condemn this post.

Ebola: the return of cordon sanitaire

Donald G. Mcneil Jr.

The Ebola outbreak in West Africa is so out of control that governments there have revived a disease-fighting tactic not used in nearly a century: the “ cordon sanitaire ,” in which a line is drawn around the infected area, and no one is allowed out.
Cordons, common in the medieval era of the Black Death, have not been seen since the border between Poland and the Soviet Union was closed in 1918 to stop typhus from spreading west. They have the potential to become brutal and inhumane. Centuries ago, in their most extreme form, everyone within the boundaries was left to die or survive, until the outbreak ended.
Plans for the new cordon were announced August 1 at an emergency meeting in Conakry, Guinea, of the Mano River Union, a regional association of Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, the three countries hardest hit by Ebola, according to Agence France-Presse. The plan was to isolate a triangular area where the three countries meet, separated only by porous borders, and where 70 per cent of the cases known at that time had been found.
Officials at the World Health Organisation and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which have experts advising the countries, say the tactic could help contain the outbreak but want to see it used humanely. Experts said that any cordon must let food, water and medical care reach those inside, and that the trust of inhabitants must be won through communication with their leaders.
The phrase cordon sanitaire , or sanitary barrier, appears to date from 1821, when France sent 30,000 troops into the Pyrenees to stop a lethal fever raging in Spain from crossing the border.
In Sierra Leone, large sections of the Kailahun and Kenema districts, an area the size of Jamaica, have been cut off by military roadblocks.
Inside the cordoned area of Sierra Leone and Liberia, alarmed residents have told reporters that they fear starving because food prices are rising. It is not clear whether plans to deliver food, water and care are under way. — New York Times News Service

ARUNDHATI ROY , GANDHIJI, LAWYERS OF T.NADU & THE GREAT CASTE SYSTEM !!!

ARUNDHATI, GANDHIJI, LAWYERS & THE GREAT CASTE SYSTEM !!!!

(1) Caste System IS about the MOST BRUTAL SOCIAL HIERARCHY.
(2) Mahatma Gandhi is accepted by almost all Indians as the Father of the Nation.
(3) Mahatma Gandhi is a follower of Caste System, Arundhati Roy said in public at Trivandrum. (primary charge against her)
(4) Therefore action(?) has to be taken against Arundhati Roy.

Refer to the following link  regarding the origin of  the above four statements.

http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/lawyers-forum-demands-action-against-arundhati-roy/article6299713.ece

Whom are the Lawyers attacking, Arundhathi Roy or The Great Caste System ? Whom are they trying to defend Gandhiji or Anti-Caste Movements ? Should majority of Indians (84%) give up their Caste !?This issue is thus very complicated.

Supporters of Freedom of Expressions, says Arundhati has the freedom as well as right to her own opinions, that in the past there were vehement criticisms against Gandhiji, and this incident is nothing new. Recently a Dalit women poet from Chennai MEENA KANDASAMY had written poems in ENGLISH criticizing and TRYING to project Gandhiji in poor-light. The poem is filled with hatred against Gandhiji. http://meenakandasamy.wordpress.com/2008/06/01/mohandas-karamchand/. Now where were these Lawyers and their Associations, when such open sacrilege was committed. Godse, Arundhati, Meena all can be yoked together. Godse fares better than them, because he belonged to a more tumultuous period, just after the Partition riots.

The Lawyers knowledge of Indian past is very poor. The must be forcibly taught the Indian sociological /anthropological/ historical accounts authored by CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES. Reading between the lines from these accounts -written solely to discredit Hindu society and its institutions, -one can can clearly discern the greatness of CASTE SYSTEM.

News Report

The writer has allegedly accused Mahatma Gandhi as a follower of the caste system.

The Federation of Bar Associations of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry has urged the Kerala government to initiate criminal proceedings against the writer and social activist, Arundhati Roy for accusing Mahatma Gandhi as a follower of the caste system.
Talking to reporters here on Saturday, Federation president P. Paramasivam said the social activist while delivering a speech at Thiruvananthapuram in July this year had belittled the Father of the Nation by stating that his doctrine of non-violence was based on the acceptance of most brutal social hierarchy, the caste system.
She had even questioned whether it was really needed to name the universities after him, which glaringly exposed the antagonism she had against the great soul of the country, he added.
“We hereby urge the Kerala government to initiate criminal proceedings against Arundhati Roy for her comments on Mahatma Gandhi. If they hesitate to respond within a reasonable time, the Federation will take up the issue to the Courts of Law through proper channel,” he added.
Earlier, a resolution urging the Kerala government to initiate criminal proceedings against her was passed at the Federations’ general body meeting. Other resolutions that were passed at the meeting include a monthly stipend for new advocates for two years from the date of their registration, reserving one-third of High Court judge posts for advocates practicing in the districts and filling up of vacancies in judicial officer-level and as well as subordinate staff-level in various courts in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Mohandas Karamchand by Meena Kandasamy

(written after reading Sylvia Plath’s Daddy)
“Generations to come will scarcely
believe that such a one as this walked
the earth in flesh and blood.”
   —Albert Einstein
Who? Who? Who?
Mahatma. Sorry no.
Truth. Non-violence.
Stop it. Enough taboo.
That trash is long overdue.
You need a thorough review.
Your tax-free salt stimulated our wounds
We gonna sue you, the Congress shoe.
Gone half-cuckoo, you called us names,
You dubbed us pariahs—“Harijans”
goody-goody guys of a bigot god
Ram Ram Hey Ram—boo.
Don’t ever act like a holy saint.
we can see through you, impure you.
Remember, how you dealt with your poor wife.
But, they wrote your books, they made your life.
They stuffed you up, the imposter true.
And sew you up—filled you with virtue
and gave you all that glossy deeds
enough reason we still lick you.
You knew, you bloody well knew,
Caste won’t go, they wouldn’t let it go.
It haunts us now, the way you do
with a spooky stick, a eerie laugh or two.
But they killed you, the naked you,
your blood with mud was gooey goo.
Sadist fool, you killed your body
many times before this too.
Bapu, bapu, you big fraud, we hate you.
